Riya began her career as a participant in the TV talent show for the children ‘Hindustan Ke Hunarbaaz’ in 2012. Later, she appeared on the TV dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance Contestant‘. Returns‘(2015) and ‘San ’75 Pachattar’ (2016).
Riya was auditioned for the Bollywood movie ‘Nil Battey Sannata‘ (2016) at Lucknow and decided to play the character of Swara Bhaskar’s daughter ‘Appu‘ in the movie.
In 2017, she worked as an art director for the short films butterfly and Hurricane’, and later appeared in more Bollywood films such as ‘Hitch’ (2018) and ‘The Third Eye’ (2019).
She made her debut as an actress in the Hindi TV series ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ on January 27, 2020.
